As part of the AIPDORCS research, we collected data from final projects, in Structural Engineering undergraduate studies, of students who approved their use. Later, we modeled all the schematic structural plans into Autodesk Revit models of typical floors of different buildings. Finally, we exported plans with a fixed standard without personal information and with the numbering of every element in the structure (as shown in the plans in the Engineers' Challenge and in the image below).
Starting today, we have added a new page under the "Research" menu called "Database". Now the entire research database is displayed on this page for public viewing.
Did you spot an engineering error in one of the structural plans? Please navigate to our Engineers' Challenge (in which a random plan is presented from the database with each refresh), mark your comments and give a final score to the plan. A valuable prize will be drawn among those who answer the challenge!
Many Thanks to all participants in this research! Each additional project or additional response to the challenge significantly improves the research results. If this study interests you, please participate. Answering the Engineers' Challenge requires only about 10 minutes of your time.
